WHAT IS A TATTOO CONVENTION?

Tattoo Artists attend Tattoo shows to celebrate the art of Tattooing. You don’t need a tattoo to enjoy a tattoo convention. Shows are friendly events with a great atmosphere. Many visitors will come and get tattooed at the show, however you can have just as much fun watching, socialising and browsing the vendors. We will also have entertainment including live music and acts. The show will have competitions in which the artists from all over the world will showcase their talents.

CAN I GET TATTOOED AT THE SHOW?

Of course! Many of the artists will be taking “Walk Up Appointments” on the days of the show, Just have a chat with the artists if you see something you like, they might be able to tattoo you there and then! Some of the attending artists will be taking bookings for the show beforehand, so make sure to visit their socials to make an appointment in advance.

in general its best to speak with an artist before especially if you have a larger tattoo in mind, but you can also just turn up and get tattooed at the event without pre booking.

DO I STILL NEED A TICKET IF IM GETTING TATTOOED?

Yes! Booking a tattoo with the artists before hand wont include the ticket price, your tattoo price discussed at booking goes directly to the artist.

ARE UNDER 18s WELCOME?

Yes, Under 18s are welcome to attend the show when accompanied by an adult, however the law requires you to be over the age of 18 to be tattooed (Parental permission does not allow this law to be ignored)

HOW CAN I GET TO THE SHOW?

The Europa is located right beside Great Victoria Street train station (as seen on the map below) which has great train and bus services from all over Ireland. Belfast also has a lot of Car Parks that are only a short walk from the venue.
